TAKE TIME  OUT

In the garden, smell the perfume of daphne and gardenia, orange  blossom and wisteria as you stroll  by a huge tulip tree and the remnants of an old post and rail fence to the gallery 's welcoming doorway.

Here you will find watercolours, pastels, oils, gouache, pen and wash, acrylics, charcoal. framed, or mounted ready for framing.

Here ,too, is a history of the sawmill town of Wiriri, established in 1938, and  abandoned in the late 1940's. A short walk will take you to the site of the old town and the remaining buildings.

In the farm kitchen, opening onto a large, sunny veranda, your hosts will prepare tea or coffee, homemade muffins, or scones and jam,  to serve by the wood fire in winter, or on the veranda and under spreading shade trees in warmer weather.

There is time, here, for the simple  pleasures of hearing the wind in the forest nearby, the humming of bees in the blossom  trees, and the song of shrike thrush, golden whistler, butcher bird and distant lyrebird . 

There is space to breathe, and to relax, to explore or simply to sit and enjoy the warm hospitality of two people who love being where they are.
