This year's exhibition will be held from the 1st to the 4th of October at the CWA rooms, Cudgery Street DORRIGO
Open:  9am - 5pm  Fri, Sat, Sun.  and  9am - 3pm Mon.

The exhibition will feature:
 Carving,  Turning,  Small Furniture,  Scrollsawing Projects,  Toys,  Clocks ....... and more.!

Dorrigo Visual Arts Group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the garage in the back lane of 71 Kurrajong Street to paint, draw and learn from each other. 

Do you have a passion for cinema, for films, movies especially art-house?
Then this local film group may be of interest to you.

MUSIC
Each year students from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music come to Dorrigo to perform for the Dorrigo community.  They also visit the schools, delighting pupils with their informal approach in describing their instruments and giving them an introduction to classical music. 
Performing to an audience is a great experience for the students and these concerts are always a pleasurable experience for Dorrigo music lovers.

Creative Movement is based on the notion we are psycho/physical beings. 
Most of our lives we operate through our rational minds.
Creative Movement gives the opportunity to by-pass our minds and allow our bodies to express life experiences and expand our imaginations. 
"That which becomes distorted and belaboured when trying to verbalise can have freedom to speak out on many levels at once in movement." 

It is a vehicle to express our joy and pain, non-verbally, beyond language.
Creative Movement spans movement from the most subtle to dynamic dance. Each individual has their own unique expression.

The Creative Movement Group in Dorrigo has been gathering for seven years. 
There is no commitment to attend and no facilitator. 
A contribution for rent of venue is the only cost involved.
We have had many visitors during this time, including people with disabilities. 
It has become a time in our week that offers mutual support and deep respect for one another.
We meet on Thursdays from 9.30 to 11.30am at the Community Hall.
