The Arts Council of the Dorrigo was established in June 1982 with the aim to support and promote a wide variety of musical, cultural and artistic activities on the Dorrigo Plateau.
The aim of the Arts Council is to develop an appreciation of the arts and enrich and enhance the quality of life through presentation, education and collaboration with other arts organisations.
The Arts Council presents a diverse range of events and exhibitions to the community including annual events such as: The Creative Mountain Arts Exhibition, The Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Dorrigo Woodcrafters Exhibition and productions by the Dorrigo Dramatic Club.
