What a wonderful achievement to win 7 categories and NSW Overall Winner in the Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Towns Awards. What did Dorrigo take out?
It was a special surprise and amazing feat for our town to win the Overall State Award in 2007. We're told it was quite unusual for a town to win so many individual category awards, plus the Overall award. It's was an exciting time for our team who travelled to Leeton to hear the good news.
This gives Dorrigo the opportunity to host this years' State awards weekend commencing Friday October 31, bringing between 400 and 450 Tidy Town delegates from all over Australia to our town. Organisation is well underway and Tidy Towns team is working hard to ensure this is a successful weekend.
