Dorrigo Amateur Swimming Club Inc

The club meets every Tuesday at 5.30 pm at the Dorrigo Swim Centre.

Membership is open to adults and children who can swim 25 metres.

Registration is $65 for swimmers and $16 for non-swimmers.

Three swim races are conducted each week followed by a barbecue tea.

The aim of the club is to give swimmers encouragement and to help them

achieve satisfaction with their efforts in improving technique, race times and

development of self-discipline. There is also the social aspect of meeting with

friends and gaining confidence in themselves.

Membership entitles swimmers to compete at local weekend carnivals and inter-

club meets, and can lead to qualification to compete at local, area, state and

national competitions.

The club is run entirely by volunteers.
