Chamber of Commerce

Dorrigo Chamber of Commerce acts as an umbrella organisation for the Dorrigo Plateau and represents and advocates on behalf of the diverse community of about 2,500 people. Unlike most Chambers, membership is almost equally across private, primary producers, voluntary organisations and business.

Despite the geographical identity and sense of community, five local government areas are represented on the Dorrigo Plateau meaning residents live on the edge of each shire and in the past have had no way of presenting a united front to government and the wider community.

The Chamber meets every month (except January) and everyone in the community is invited to attend regardless of membership.

Over the past few years the Dorrigo Chamber of commerce has become the first point of contact for new residents and businesses, government and non government agencies and media.

The Chamber sponsors a number of projects and applications for government funding which stand to benefit the community.

The dorrigo tourism, business, and community website is owned by the Dorrigo community through the Dorrigo Chamber of Commerce.

Dorrigo dot com acts as a primary access point for the global community to the business & services, primary & secondary industry and the Dorrigo Plateau as a tourist destination, as well as a medium for local community activity and communication. All businesses on the Dorrigo Plateau, particularly in tourism, are encouraged to make their presence felt to all visitors of dorrigo dot com.

Hosting charges are very modest, from

• a listing at $100.00 p.a.**

• a listing, additional read more link to content page, and a Local Business random advert. at $120.00 p.a.**

• a listing, additional read more link to additional content, and a Local Business random advert. and a revolving Classifieds advert. at $140.00 p.a.**

**Extra $40.00 per option for Chamber Non-members.

All listing may be edited by you through your user access interface.

All community groups are welcome to have a free presence at dorrigo dot com. Including an email alias which is redirected to whoever is the secretary (contact webmaster for further information, support and free training).
