Dorrigo - Megan - Ulong - Cascade - Dorrigo
Take the road past Dangar Falls through beautiful rolling hills to the little hamlet of Megan. Turn to the right just after the town and, though it's a winding dirt road, it's through beautiful rainforest so just take it slowly and enjoy it.
After about 15 km you'll come to a junction and the turnoff to the secluded valley and village of Ulong on the left. Ulong has an Ex-services club that serves food on Fridays & Saturdays, and Sunday lunch. - a little Aussie icon.
Then return home along the Cascade Road through the old mill town of Cascade. Once there were two timber mills here and when one of them closed it was bought and burnt down for a scene in the seventies film "Winds of Jarrah". And home again to Dorrigo, probably with a stop the see the 30 metre Dangar Falls, just 2 km from Dorrigo town.
