Dorrigo - Old Coast Road - Cedar Grove- Moonpah Forest Drive - Norman Jolly Memorial Grove - Bostobrick - Dorrigo
Take the Tyringham Road about 4 km north of Dorrigo and turn off at Old Coast Road winding up through cattle properties till you reach the top and are confronted by spectacular views of the Great Dividing Range as it folds itself to the horizon.
You will soon rejoin the Tyringham Road again (this is a loop road) and carry on past the grove of Cedar trees and past the little mill village of Bostobrick. One kilometer after village is Moonpah Forest Drive. Turn right here - it's a gravel road most of the way. About 7km on the right is a sign to the Norman Jolly Memorial Grove, where a walk through ancient tallowwood and brushbox trees demonstrates old growth forests. Some of these giants are estimated at over 600 years old.
You can have a picnic here and take a short walk around the grove. Return the same way through Bostobrick and back to Dorrigo.
