Dorrigo, overlooking the Coffs Coast, is your gateway to the natural treasures of World Heritage listed parks. Here you can walk and picnic in rainforests, beneath the splendour of ancient buttressed figs, giant tallowoods and Australian cedars.

Experience the peacefulness of a bushwalk in one of our National Parks or Reserves, bird watching or swimming in the refreshing mountain rivers or in the solar heated swimming pool. Staying overnight or spending a few days exploring, the Dorrigo Plateau offers you not only quality accommodation, but also the extras to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Quality venues are also available for golf, tennis, squash and bowling activities.

  • The Waterfall Way
The spectacular drive along the Waterfall Way stretches over a distance of 280kms reaching from the Pacific Highway west to Tamworth. Climbing up the sealed and maintained trunk road of the Great Dividing Range and travelling through the Plateau and across the slopes you experience the unique beauty of many waterfalls, scenic views, World Heritage listed forests and National Parks.

  • National Parks
Dorrigo's renowned boardwalks make its rainforests on the edge of the Great Escarpment one of Australia's most accessible World Heritage areas. Picnic with the brush turkeys at The Glade, visit the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre and Canopy Cafe or try the waterfall tracks.

  • Self Drive Tours
Make Dorrigo your base - there are magnificent plateau drives drawing you to mountains, gorges, waterfalls and cascades, old villages filled with history and craft, and you'll find yourself on top of the Great Dividing Range.
